Privacy Policy

You choose what to enter. Money Growth collects only the following:

• Account information: your email address, a password (if you sign up with email), and an optional first name. If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile information Google returns for sign-in, such as your email address.
• Money Checkup entries: income, monthly expenses, savings, debt balances and payments by category, investments, and goals you type into the Checkup.
• Credit Center entries: a self-reported credit score range, and card nicknames, balances, limits, APRs, and payment amounts you type in.
• Grow entries: watchlist ticker symbols, hypothetical (paper) positions, and hypothetical investment goals and plans you save.
• Housing & Auto entries: the housing, auto, and comparison scenario values you save as plans.

All financial figures are self-reported. Money Growth does not connect to your bank, lender, card issuer, credit bureau, or brokerage, and does not import your real accounts.

The Money Checkup works without an account. When you are not signed in, your Checkup answers are kept in your browser's session storage and are used only to show your results. They are not sent to our database, and they are cleared when you close the browser tab or clear your browser data.

If you create a free account and choose to save, your profile row and the entries listed above are stored in our hosted database (Supabase, provided through the Lovable Cloud platform). Access is restricted by row-level security so that a signed-in user can read and write only their own rows.

Money Growth uses browser storage for two purposes: session storage to hold an in-progress or unsaved Money Checkup, and local storage or cookies used by the authentication library to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.

Like any website, requests to Money Growth are handled by our hosting and database providers, which may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser user agent, and request timestamps for delivery, security, and reliability. We do not maintain our own separate analytics profile of you.

Money Growth does not currently run third-party analytics or advertising, does not sell or share your information with advertisers, and does not process payments. Money Growth Pro is a planned, Coming Soon idea only: there is no subscription, no billing, and no payment information collected today.

• Supabase (via Lovable Cloud) — authentication and database hosting for accounts and saved entries.
• Google Sign-In — only if you choose to sign in with Google.

Money Growth does not currently send any information to a market-data provider. The Grow section does not request prices, charts, or company information from outside services in this version.

This version of Money Growth does not display market prices, price changes, charts, or company and fund information. Everything shown in Grow — including watchlist symbols, hypothetical portfolio amounts, goals, and projections — comes from the values you enter yourself and is educational only.

• To calculate and display your educational Money Score, results, and scenario estimates.
• To show your saved history and comparisons over time.
• To sign you in and keep your session active.
• To operate, secure, debug, and improve the application.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use your financial entries to target advertising.

Saved entries stay in your account until you delete them. From the Account page you can:

• Delete My Saved Financial Data — removes your saved Money Checkups, Credit Center data, Grow data, and Housing & Auto plans. Your account stays active so you can keep using Money Growth.
• Delete My Account — permanently removes your account and the saved application data associated with it, including your login.

When you delete saved data or your account, Money Growth removes the applicable information from its active application systems as described in this policy. Our hosting, database, and infrastructure providers may retain limited copies in backups, security logs, or operational records for a period of time under their own retention policies, legal obligations, or security requirements. These provider-controlled copies are not treated by Money Growth as active user data and may not be directly accessible or removable through Money Growth's application-level deletion controls.

We use authenticated access, row-level database policies, and server-side handling of provider API keys. No online service can be perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur. Please use a strong, unique password.

Money Growth is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. It is not intended for people under 18, and people under 18 should not create an account or submit personal or financial information through the service. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, contact us so it can be removed.

We may update this policy as Money Growth changes. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
